Begin stranded on an island where food, water, temperature, predators, and other survivors shape everyday survival. Diving adds an oxygen requirement, while cooperation or competitive tribal combat changes how securely you can gather and store supplies.

Survival Loop and Progression

Harvest resources, learn crafting recipes, construct shelters, grow crops, and tame or breed creatures for work, transport, and defense. Boss encounters and explorer notes provide progression beyond maintaining a home. Expansions add separately packaged maps and story content; Survival Ascended is a distinct remake rather than an update included with this purchase.

Modes and Availability

Released as a paid game on Windows, macOS, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Solo and player-hosted co-op or PvP remain possible after retirement of the old official server networks. PlayStation and Xbox support two-player local split-screen; Switch supports one player per system, with online multiplayer.
