Don’t Starve Together Survival Experience

Maintain food, body temperature, and sanity in a hostile wilderness where darkness and seasonal creatures can undo a well-stocked camp. The standalone game supports cooperating with other survivors or managing the same world alone.

Survival Loop and Progression

Gather supplies, farm, cook, and construct camp facilities while exploring caves, ancient locations, and offshore islands. Equipment, bosses, and discoveries give survival longer-term objectives without promising a final escape campaign. Relaxed settings prevent death from starvation, freezing, overheating, and darkness; Survival, Endless, Wilderness, and custom worlds change the challenge and revival rules.

Modes and Availability

Available as a paid game on Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Solo, online co-op, and optional PvP are supported, with LAN play on PC. Consoles support two-player local split-screen; the PC version does not offer native split-screen. Switch supports up to four online players, while PlayStation and Xbox versions support larger groups. PS4 and PS5 can play together on the same game version; that is not a guarantee of cross-play with PC or other console families.
