Develop a planetary foothold and explore a galaxy where food, oxygen, hostile creatures, and hazardous environments complicate travel. This is a broad space sandbox with construction, faction conflict, and first-person combat alongside survival.

Survival Loop and Progression

Gather resources, hunt, forage, grow food, and construct settlements, space stations, and spacecraft. Capital vessels can carry living and production facilities between worlds, supporting a mobile-base approach as well as fixed planetary homes. Crafting and the technology tree unlocks better equipment, weapons, and building components. Exploration connects worlds with different atmospheres, gravity, climates, and resources.

Modes and Availability

Available as a paid Windows game with solo, online co-op, online PvP, and LAN co-op. Server regions can separate cooperative PvE settlements from competitive PvP areas. Survival requires food and oxygen, while Creative removes food, resource, and enemy restrictions for building. The Dark Faction expansion is separate from the standard base-game purchase.
