Establish a foothold on Mars by producing food, drinking water, and breathable oxygen while keeping essential machinery working. The main challenge is technical self-sufficiency: a failed system can interrupt the supplies that sustain your expeditions.

Survival Loop and Progression

Mine resources, construct and upgrade habitats, grow crops in greenhouses, and connect water, oxygen, and electrical networks. Repair electronic components, develop vehicles, and use a rover’s crane and tools for mining and transport. Solar arrays and batteries support the base through the day-night cycle. Choosing sites with accessible groundwater and manageable nighttime conditions helps infrastructure remain useful.

Modes and Availability

Available as a paid Windows game with solo and implemented online co-op play. The game left Early Access in January 2026. Its open-world sandbox centers on building, exploration, and technology rather than a guaranteed escape ending. The Collector’s Edition adds supporter material such as a soundtrack and artbook rather than a separate survival campaign.
