Survive on a barren alien planet while transforming it into a habitable world. Food, water, and a personal oxygen supply keep expeditions possible, with environmental hazards replacing enemy combat as the main source of danger.

Survival Loop and Progression

Collect minerals, explore wrecks and ruins, construct habitats, and develop food production and automated machinery. Increasing planetary heat, oxygen, pressure, and biomass unlocks new technology and changes the landscape from lifeless terrain to a biosphere. Planetary heat is a terraforming metric, not a personal body-temperature requirement. Reaching a breathable atmosphere eventually removes the need to refill personal oxygen.

Modes and Availability

Available as a paid game on Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with solo and online co-op play. Console store listings specify up to eight players, while the PC description advertises larger configurable groups. Difficulty presets and custom settings change survival pressure, and Creative supports unrestricted construction. Planet Humble and Toxicity are separate expansions rather than part of every base-game purchase.
