The Solus Project Survival Experience

A destroyed spacecraft leaves you alone on an alien ocean planet, searching for supplies and a way to contact humanity’s remaining fleet. Food, water, sleep, wet clothing, and extreme temperatures turn exploration into a careful balance of preparation and exposure.

Survival Loop and Progression

Scavenge scattered wreckage, combine useful items, and explore islands linked by caves and ancient tombs. Tornadoes, lightning, meteors, and changing tides create environmental danger. Rebuilding a communications device provides a clear objective, while puzzles and discoveries reveal the planet’s history. The adventure has a beginning and an ending; it is not an indefinite survival or base-building sandbox.

Modes and Availability

Released as a paid solo game on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Difficulty can be adjusted to emphasize exploration or a more demanding survival challenge. The PC version includes optional VR support, but a headset is not required for ordinary play. Headset support and requirements differ from the standard game.
