The Wild Eight Survival Experience

A plane crash leaves survivors in remote Alaska, where hunger, cold, blizzards, and predators make travel dangerous. The wilderness survival loop accompanies an action-adventure mystery involving abandoned facilities and unusual phenomena.

Survival Loop and Progression

Gather resources, construct and upgrade shelters or workshops, and craft weapons and protective equipment. Hunt or scavenge to keep expeditions supplied, then explore laboratories, bunkers, and other abandoned sites for clues and better loot. Skill improvements and camp upgrades make longer journeys possible; strange anomalies alone do not define the game as a supernatural-threat survival simulation.

Modes and Availability

Available as a paid game on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The PC version supports solo play and online co-op with up to eight players in total. The console releases are single-player, so their availability does not mean they include PC co-op. The linked video is the original 2019 version 1.0 launch trailer.
